I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Gareth Evans as a private tutor for children. He was recommended to me and really came to our rescue in our hour of need. With only 6 weeks to prepare my son for English and Maths entrance tests to some of the top UK academically selective boarding schools he quickly worked his magic. Reliable, organised, structured with a friendly and engaging manner my son came on leaps and bounds. Gareth supported and encouraged while also providing stretch and challenge. He is patient, but also keeps his eye on the goal, preparing engaging and relevant lessons, giving helpful feedback and homework. He has been so excellent that even though my son not only has two offers but also scholarships, we have kept him on to keep the academics ticking over.
